Check in= 4pm to 9pm. ( out side these time by arrangement)
Check out= 10.30am.
Included in the room rate is a full Yorkshire dales breakfast, cooked to order using locally-sourced ingredients.
Children = We accept children over the age of 11 only.
Should you need to cancel your accommodation
All cancellation need to be done by post or email.
The proprietors reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice. We reserve the right to charge in full, for accommodation booked at the River House when less than 7 days notice is given when cancelling bookings.
Group bookings = Please note Group booking of 3 or more rooms we require a £50.00 per room deposit and 14 days notice to be given when cancelling.

River House operates a strict non-smoking policy. We are a NO SMOKING guest house throughout, this includes all rooms including guest bedrooms. We the proprietors hold the right if we find any evidence or believe that any of our guests have been smoking in any of our rooms (this includes smell of cigarettes in rooms or cigarette butts found outside bedroom windows) to add £100 to the bill for the expense to us for loss of earnings, the dry cleaning of curtains, bedding, and carpet cleaning, etc. If the guest is part way through a stay they will be asked to leave the premises with no refund being given. So if you intend to smoke a sneaky cigarette out of the bedroom window please do not book a room at River House as we have zero tolerance on this matter. An ash tray can be provided, for you to use out side the main door for our smoking guests, just ask.
