Awards & Recognitions at River House

It was a delight having Sally and her Daughter staying with us over the Easter holiday in 2019, and such a wonderful story as they both explored Yorkshire and the Dales. It was fantastic to be asked to be involved and loved having them stay at River House Bed and Breakfast, in Malham.

Yorkshire In Bloom 2022

From our first award of a Silver Gilt from Yorkshire in Bloom 2015 for River House, Malham to gold in 2019 and then this week we have been awarded again a gold for our garden and court yard at River House pluss this year best in our categery for small bussiness in Yorkshire .

The judges came round in July and just by chance all the roses in the front garden waited till then to open and it was glorious weather the day they came. You get a comment sheet attached to the award saying what they liked and how we could make it better for future years, just one comment they said which i loved was ” Due to its size little more could be done to the garden at the hotel and we would not want anything to change” they were very impressed by the array of climbing roses which adorned the walls. a good first time entry,. ”
